After a normally starting vintage, with bud break in March and a little late flowering end of June, everthing seems good. Then things turned and the weather conditions in spring have changed dramatically. By having warm temperatures and 6 weeks of rain, hail and storm the young grapes could not resist the upcoming fungual diseases.
Then, as if by miracle, the weather turned into dry, warm and sunny from begin of August until the harvest in middle of October. For this reason the mildewed berries dried, flew on the ground and did not affected the healthy grapes. This natural selection let us collect healthy, ripe and golden grapes! All in all a highly qualified vintage with very less quantities.
Due to excellent quality oft our grapes we have launched two new wines.
